MLA Wagyu Steak Curry

Enjoy your favourite Japanese Curry Rice with Australia's finest Wagyu Tenderloin Beef for an extra wow experience.

Ingredients

300g Wagyu Tenderloin Beef
300g Carrot, cut into bite sized
300g Potato, cut into slightly bigger than bite sized
100g Apple, grated
100g Onion, finely diced
100g Japanese Curry Spice mix
500ml Beef Stock
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Ketchup 

Preparation

  • In a pot, sautee onion in vegetable oil on low heat until caramelized then add carrot, potato and apple. Stir for a bit then add beef stock. Simmer for 45 minutes with closed lid.
  • After simmering, you can now add in the curry spice mix and season with salt, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and ketchup. Then boil for another 5-10 minutes.
  • Pre-heat pan to medium heat.
  • Lightly rub salt on the tenderloin.
  • Pan sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side depending on the thickness of your cut.
  • Rest for 2 minutes before cutting. Serve with Japanese rice.
